The Holy Spirit, the Greatest Helper of All

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, our Bishop, Prof. Dr. John Rugira, delivered a powerful and spirit-filled message centered on the theme "Umwuka Wera, Umufasha Uruta Abandi Bose" (The Holy Spirit, the Greatest Helper of All). Bishop Rugira reminded us that Jesus did not leave us alone after His ascension; instead, He promised us a divine Helper—the Holy Spirit—who would dwell with us and in us forever. Referencing Yohana 14:16-17, he explained how the Holy Spirit is not just a comforter, but also our guide, teacher, and source of truth in every season of life. He emphasized that the Holy Spirit is not distant or occasional, but ever-present and personal. Unlike any human helper, the Holy Spirit knows our hearts, strengthens our weaknesses, and empowers us to live a life that reflects Christ. His presence brings peace, discernment, and boldness in our spiritual walk.
